THE AGRICULTURE PROGRAM

This project plays a vital role in equipping youth with practical agricultural skills, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable farming practices. Through its initiatives, the program aims to: Enhance food security and increase agricultural productivity, support entrepreneurship by encouraging establishment of agribusiness ventures; foster economic growth by creating income generating opportunities for the institute; and improve resource management through developing strategies to utilize land, water, and inputs efficiently while minimizing post-harvest losses through  improved storage and handling methods. Current crops being managed include; maize, beans, yams, pumpkins and vegetables.
