The Igoye Young Professional Mentorship Institute (IYPMI) is a strategic initiative designed to bridge the critical gap between education and employment. As a company limited by guarantee, IYPMI is committed to fostering transformative change in communities by equipping young people including survivors of human trafficking and refugees; with the tools and opportunities to rethink their goals, refocus their efforts, and excel in their chosen paths. Through a diverse range of tailored programs and activities, the Institute positions itself as a catalyst for holistic growth, robust sustainable community development and a hub for nurturing adaptable future-ready leaders.
The Institute’s inception is marked on its inaugural program, the Young Professional Mentorship Program (YPMP) during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. What began as a response to young professionals and students reaching out to the vision bearer Agnes Igoye through social media for guidance has evolved into a transformative entity empowering young people succeed their professional journeys.
